The book of James discusses the perfect Law of Liberty. I believe the Law of Libery refers to the freedom we have in Christ and refers completely to the Gospel message
Jas 1:25 But whoever looks into the perfect Law of liberty and continues in it, he is not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work. This one shall be blessed in his doing.
Here is what my e-sword Bible reference says about it (Gill):
Jas 1:25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty,…. By which is meant, not the moral law, but the Gospel; for only of that is the apostle speaking in the context:
The scholar agrees with me that James is setting the stage of the rest of his letter with the Gospel and freedom in Christ that spurs us on toward good works.
Lets not be a forgetful hearer that Paul refers to! Thanks to my savior Jesus Christ
