I like to describe our process of sanctification in the Spirit in terms of the Gospel. When you do this you starting seeing sin absolutely and completely…. as opposed to relatively and partially. This depth of seeing our religious sin as well as our irreligious sin is important to me.
When you begin realize that the antidote to being bad is not just being good, you are on the brink. If you follow through, it will change everything: how you relate to God, self, others, the world, your work, your sins, your virtue. [When you we come to Jesus and see the Gospel], it’s called the new birth because it’s so radical. — Tim Keller.
